The Brute - A Serious Catch and Release Muskie Net
Thursday April 03, 2008 The Brute was designed from top to bottom for the specific challenges of landing, handling and releasing large muskie, starting with an exaggerated hoop size that allows for easy entry of these large, torpedo-shaped fish. The net bag is manufactured from Loki Nets' proven Tangle-LessTM netting, features a sewn-in bottom, and measures 42 inches deep to handle the mightiest muskie. Loki Nets' exclusive American-made netting material features a knotless small mesh design and durable coating for a rugged net with more body. At the same time, the knotless netting is easier on fish with its smooth surface that protects slime coat and minimizes damage to gills and fins. The Brute boasts a beefy six-foot fiberglass handle with a foam grip that helps anglers hang on -even when they've got a tiger by the tail. A solid aluminum-connecting block joins the handle to the frame, and allows it to slide in and out for easy storage and transportation. For added durability and improved performance, the netting is bonded to the frame.
